Pinterest Boards, Archived at Original Resolution
Record the responses your own signed-in browser receives while a board loads, and archive each pin’s original image link instead of the blurry thumbnail.

- HAR 1.2

Business Pain Point
What slows your team down today
The page shows thumbnails
Pins render as resized previews. The 736x and original image addresses sit in the data the page loads, not in what the DOM displays.
Long sessions wear Chrome down
Headless tools that open tabs and never truly close them leave zombie pages behind until memory runs out and the browser stalls.
Big answers get cut
Board and search responses carry dozens of pins each. Tools with small body limits return truncated JSON that will not parse.
Operun Advantage
Why the Operun kernel gets it right
Network capture with bodies
capture start --bodies keeps up to 5 MiB per response (8 MiB per capture), filtered by URL regex to the image CDN and the page’s initial data.
Standard HAR 1.2 export
capture stop writes a HAR 1.2 file with every request, redirect hop and body, so the original image link of each pin can be read back out.
Verified tab close
close-tab removes the tab, then checks the browser’s tab list to confirm it is gone. A capture on a closed tab is released too: no zombie tabs.
- 01
Open the board
Open a new tab on the board in your signed-in browser and note its tab id.
- 02
Start the capture
Start a capture on that tab, filtered to the image CDN and page data, with bodies on.
- 03
Scroll the waterfall
Operun scrolls the board so Pinterest loads every pin, then stops the capture and writes the HAR.
- 04
Close and verify
The tab is closed and its removal verified; the pin index and image archive are built from the HAR.
